The Heights Carmel Valley Community
The Heights is a very in-demand community in the north part of San Diego’s Carmel Valley that is comprised of over 500 one and two-story homes.
Built by Pardee Homes between 1983 and 1989, The Heights is laid out in three sections (all are north of Del Mar Heights Road).
The most western section is situated west of El Camino Real.
The streets here include Lower Ridge Road, Walking Path Place, Lady Hill Road, Windbreak Road, Windbreak Court, Survey Point, Maritime Place, Half Mile Drive, Courtland Terrace, Foxgrove Place, Roxton Circle, Landfair Court, Newcrest Point and parts of Landfair Road, High Bluff Drive and Overpark Road.
The central section is situated east of El Camino Real, with homes extending from Kibbings Road east to the end of Torrey Pines High School and the residences looking out towards Torrey Ridge Park.
The streets here include Kibbings Road, Norcroft Road, Haxton Place, Capstone Drive, Grayson Drive, Gelbourne Place, Keegan Place, Jarman Place and Heston Place.
The most eastern section is situated east of Torrey Ridge Park, with homes stretching along Glencliff Way (north of Lansdale Drive).
Beacuse The Heights is one of Carmel Valley’s original neighborhoods, lot sizes are larger than most other communities. In addition, many residences enjoy good views.
In terms of accessibility, the community is centrally located to all that Carmel Valley has to offer, with no place further than 2 miles away.
