About San Carlos San Diego
San Carlos is a neighborhood in central San Diego that is located 11 miles northeast of Downtown and 13 miles from the Pacific Ocean.
First developed in the mid 1970’s, San Carlos is bordered by Del Cerro, Allied Gardens, Tierrasanta and La Mesa. It also extends north up into Cowles Mountain.
